Augmentin represents an antibiotic in the category of drugs named penicillin. It affrays bacteria in the body. Augmentin is prescribed for the treatment of various types of infections, such as tonsillitis, inflammation of one or both lungs, ear infections, bronchitis, urinary tract problems, gonorrhea, as well as infections of the skin. Intake Instruction
Augmentin is shaped in a capsule, can also be chewable tablet, liquid, and pediatric drop to be intaken by mouth. It is generally taken every 8 hours (three times a day). Augmentin represents an antibiotic of the penicillin type. Missed Dose
Should you miss a dose of this medicine please take it asap. If you find you have missed the previous dosage when it is almost time for your next dose, you should better skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Taking double or extra doses at once is not recommended. If more than one dose is missed, please contact your attending medical doctor or health care provider.
Storage
The best conditions to keep the medicine at are to store them room temperature. The container where the medicine is stored should be tightly closed. It should be also strictly protected from moisture, heat and light.
Please make sure to keep Amantadine out of the reach of children and pets.
Store the oral liquid form of the preparate in the refrigerator or an ice box as heat may cause serious damage to this medicine. Make sure to keep the medicine from freezing. Please also follow the instructions on the label. Never keep medicine with expired dates or medicine longer needed. Make certain that any spoilt medicine is out of the reach of children.

If you have ever showed an allergic reaction to penicillin or to a cephalosporin, please do not take Augmentin without preliminary consultations with your physician.
