Drug Uses
Rhinocort helps to treat symptoms of allergy (nasal). These symptoms may include sneezing, nose and congestion. Sometimes it may be taken for some other conditions as directed by your doctor.
How Taken
Take the medication as determined by your doctor. Read the medicine label for precise dosing instructions carefully.
This medication isspecially formulated for use in the nose.
Shake the holder before using, then prime the pump eight times.
Daily usage: do not reprime the pump.
If Rhinocprt is not taken for two days, reprime it with one spray/till the mist is noticed.
If not used for more than two weeks, reprime the applicator it with two sprays/till the mist is noticed.
Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

Drug Class and Mechanism
This corticosteroid shrinks nasal structure with inflammation. Besides, Rhinocort blocks the action of some chemicals and cells of the immune system.
Missed Dose
Take this medicine as determined by your doctor. If you omit a dose of Rhinocort, take it immediately. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up. Then go back to your usual schedule.
Storage
Keep the medicine at room temperature, between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Keep in a hermetic and light-resistant container. Store Rhinocort away from light, heat and moisture. Do not store it in the bathroom. Save this remedy beyond the reach of children and away from pets.
Warnings Precautions
You must not use this medicine if:
you have allergies to its ingredients;
you are currently using mifepristone.
Contact your health care provider/doctor immediately in case some of these apply to you.
Sometimes certain medical conditions interact with Rhinocort. Tell your pharmacist or doctor in case you have the following medical conditions:
if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant;
if you are breast-feeding;
if you are currently using some herbal preparation, certain dietary supplement
or prescription/nonprescription medicine;
if you are allergic to some substances (medicines, foods etc.);
if you have any infection;; measles; diarrhea; chickenpox; tuberculosis/positive TB test; nasal ulcer; nasal trauma or surgery; herpes;
if you have recently had a vaccination.
Possible Side Effects
Almost all medicines may provoke certain side effects. Nevertherless, many people have no/ minor side effects. Contact your doctor if any of these side effects take place:
coughing; dryness in the nose; nausea; sore throat; lungs tightness; headache; hoarseness; nasal irritation.
Ask for medical attention immediately in case any of these serious side effects take place:
serious allergic reactions (chest tightness; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue; rash; hives; difficulty breathing); infections; chest pounding; nose discomfort; high eye pressure.
In case you experience some other effects, contact your health care provider as soon as possible.
More Information
Rhinocort should be taken only by those patients for whom it is prescribed. You should not give it to others.
If your symptoms become worse and do not improve, contact your doctor.
