Missed Dose

Storage
The Wellbutrin SR should be stored at a room temperature of 77 degrees F but the brief storage should be at 59-86 degree F and should be stored away from any moisture, light and heat and should not be stored in a bathroom. It must always be kept away from children and from pets.
Warnings Precautions
One should not take the drug if
- One is allergic to any ingredient in Wellbutrin SR
- One is allergic to any medicine that has bupropion
- Has a history of eating disorder or seizures
- Have suddenly stopped the use of alcohol or sedatives
There are some medical conditions that may react with the drug and they are:
- If one is pregnant or has plans to become pregnant or breast feeding
- If one has allergies to medicines, food or other substances
- If there is a family history of bipolar disorder and mood problems
- If you have kidney problems, diabetes and high blood pressure
- If you have a history of seizure, liver problems, brain tumour and head injuries.
There are some medicines that may interact with Wellbutrin SR and one should consult the doctor when any of the following symptoms persist:
Some medicines may interact with Wellbutrin SR Sustained-Release Tablets. Tell your health care provider if you are taking any other medicines, especially any of the following:
- antidepressants (eg, fluoxetine, amitriptyline), sympathomimetics (eg, pseudoephedrine), theophylline, or tiagabine , Amantadine, antipsychotics (eg, haloperidol, risperidone), corticosteroids (eg, prednisone), insulin, levodopa, MAOIs (eg, phenelzine), nicotine patches, oral hypoglycemics (eg, glipizide) because they have the possibility of increasing the side effects of the drug.
- Antiarrhythmics (eg, propafenone, flecainide), beta-blockers (eg, metoprolol), phenothiazines (eg, thioridazine), selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressants (eg, fluoxetine), or tricyclic antidepressants (eg, nortriptyline), Carbamazepine, phenobarbital, or phenytoin because they reduce the effectiveness of the drug
Possible Side Effects
One should check with the doctor if there are the following side effects:
o nausea; tiredness or weakness; vomiting, constipation; dizziness; headache; indigestion;
One must get medical attention immediately if these side effects occur:
o depression; fainting; hallucinations; irregular heartbeat; mood or mental changes; shortness of breath; swelling of hands or feet; vision disturbances, severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); behavior changes (eg, aggression); chest pain; confusion; and cough
