How Taken
Take Medrol as suggested by your doctor. For accurate information on dosing go through the medicine's label thoroughly
• Take Medrol orally with / without food. In case stomach upset takes place, take it with food for lowering stomach irritation.
Drug Class and Mechanism
Medrol may be defined as a corticosteroid that works by making your immune system accustomed to different conditions and lowering inflammation.
Missed Dose
If you miss a single dose, skip it and return to your normal dosing schedule
Storage
Store at 77 degrees F or 25 degrees C. You can also store it for a products_description time between 59 - 86 degrees F or 15 - 30 degrees C. Keep off from moisture, heat, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Medrol out of the reach of children and away from pets.
Warnings Precautions
Avoid taking Medrol if:
• You are allergic to any of the ingredients present in Medrol
• You are taking mifepristone
• You suffer from systemic fungal infection
• You take smallpox vaccine on routine basis

There are certain medical conditions that can interact with this medication. Consult your doctor or talk to the pharmacist if you suffer from medical conditions, or:
• In case you are pregnant, are breast-feeding or planning to get pregnant
• If you are taking any prescription / nonprescription medicated drug, dietary supplement or herbal preparation
• If you are allergic to medicines, foods, as well as other substances
• if you are having a past record of heart problems (such as congestive heart failure), high blood pressure, heart attack, liver problems, kidney problems, seizures, diabetes, problems related to adrenal gland, an underactive thyroid, or any mood or mental disorders
• if you are having or have had a bacterial, fungal, viral, or other kind of infection; measles; chickenpox; herpes infection in your eye; or shingles
• If you are having tuberculosis (TB), or HIV or if you had ever opted for a TB skin test and the reports were positive
• If suffer from intestinal problems (such as perforation, blockage, unexplained diarrhea, infection, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis), stomach problems (such as ulcers), swelling of your esophagus or fresh intestinal surgery,
• if you are having muscle problems (such as, myasthenia gravis) or feeble bones problems (such as osteoporosis)
• If you have opted for recent vaccinations (such as, smallpox)
Some medications are likely to react with Medrol. Hence prefer talking to your doctor if you are taking:
• Hydantoins, carbamazepine (such as, phenytoin), Barbiturates (such as, phenobarbital), rifampin or lithium, as they may lower the effectiveness of Medrol
• Clarithromycin, ketoconazole, aprepitant, diltiazem, cyclosporine, itraconazole, erythromycin, or troleandomycin as if you take them together with Medrol then you may experience the following side effects: nervous system or adrenal gland problems
• Live vaccines, aspirin, mifepristone, or ritodrine, as their actions as well as their risk of side effects can be increased if you take Medrol
Possible Side Effects

- clumsiness

- facial flushing

- acute allergic reactions (hives; rash; breathing problems; itching; tightness in your chest; swelling of your lips, face, mouth, or tongue)
- black and tarry stools
- body fat changes
- menstrual periods changes
- skin color changes
- chest pain
- mood or mental changes (such as depression)
- muscle pain
- weakness
- Seizures
- severe vomiting or nausea
- sudden acute headache or dizziness
- swelling of legs or feet
- symptoms related to infection (e.g., chills, fever, sore throat)
- bone or tendon pain
- thinning of your skin
- abnormal bleeding or bruising
- abnormal skin sensation
- abnormal weight gain
- vision changes as well as other eye related problems
- Vomit that appears like coffee grounds.
