Drug Instruction
Mobic is is prescribed for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, as well as juvenile arthritis. The medicine may also be used for other conditions as advised by your doctor.
Intake Instructions
Please use the medicine under you health care provider’s strict control. Necessarily perform a check up of the label on the medicine for learning exact dosing instructions. Make sure to intake Mobic by mouth. The medicine can be taken with food if you feel it upsets your stomach. Drug Category and Mechanism
Mobic represents a category of an NSAID. It works by blockage of certain substances in the body which are directly linked to inflammation. NSAIDs are prescribed for the treatment of the symptoms of pain and inflammation.
Missed Dose
Should you miss a dose of this medicine please take it asap. If you find you have missed the previous dosage when it is almost time for your next dose, you should better skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Taking double or extra doses at once is not recommended. If more than one dose is missed, please contact your attending medical doctor or health care provider.
Storage
The best conditions to keep the medicine is at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Brief storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is allowed. The container where the medicine is stored should be tightly closed. It should be also strictly protected from moisture, heat and light.
Safety Precautions
Taking the medicine is not recommended in case:
you have allergic reactions to any component in Mobic;
you have had an austere allergic reaction (eg, severe rash, hives, hard breathing, growths in the nose, giddiness) to aspirin or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) (eg, ibuprofen, celecoxib);
you have recently had or will be having border heart surgery;
you have a digestive ulcer;
you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
Please inform your health care provider if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of these are applicable to you.
Crucial Information:
Do not drive, use machinery, or do any actions which require mental alertness until you certainly inform how this medicine may affect you.
Taking more dosages than prescribed with your health care provider is not recommended thus please stick to the advised schedule of intake.
Please note that Mobic is an NSAID. Before you start any new medicine, make sure to perform a check up of the preparate label to learn if it has an NSAID (eg, ibuprofen) in it as well. In case it does involve or you are not certain, please necessarily consult with your health care provider or pharmacist.
Te intake of aspirin at the period of treatment with Mobic is not recommended unless your physician determines you otherwise. austere allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; hard breathing; tenseness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); bloody or black, tarry stools; change of urine produced; chest pain; disorder; dark urine; the state of being depressed; fainting; fast or uncommon heartbeat; an abnormally high body temperature, chills, or continuos sore throat; mental or mood changes; anemia of an arm or leg; one-sided weariness; red, swollen, blistered, or husking skin; ringing in the ears; convulsions; austere headache or giddiness; austere or continuos stomach pain or emesis; austere retching; shortness of breath; uncommon or unexplained weight gain; tremor of hands, legs, or feet; uncommon bruising or bleeding; uncommon joint or muscle pain; extreme tiredness or weariness; changes in vision or speech; retching alike coffee grounds; yellowing of the skin or eyes.
