Drug Uses
Pulmicort prevents symptoms of asthma. This medication may also be used for purposes other than those listed in its medication guide.
How Taken
Take the medication as determined by your doctor. Read the medicine label for precise dosing instructions carefully. Pulmicort should be inhaled through the mouth.
First of all, prepare your new unit. Open the cover. Then hold the bootle in a vertical position turning the grip in one direction, and then turn it in the opposite direction till it clicks. Then repeat it once more. You should prepare the inhaler for using only once, even in case you do not take it for a long time. When the inhaler is prepared for usage
To take a dosage, open the cover. Then hold the bootle in a vertical position turning the grip in one direction, and then turn it in the opposite direction till it clicks. The inhaler should not be shaked. Breathe out fully. After breathing out put the mouthpiece between your lips and breathe in powerfully. After removing the inhaler breathe out. You must not breathe out via the inhaler.
If you have to use some more procedures do the previous steps once more.
After each procedure you have to bathe your mouth so that not get some infections.

Drug Class and Mechanism
Being an inhaled corticosteroid, this medicine decreases the airways’ swelling and irritation. As a result, symptoms of asthma are prevented or controlled.
Missed Dose
Take this medicine as determined by your doctor. If you omit a dose of Pulmicort Inhaler (Budesonide), take it immediately. If several hours have passed or if it is nearing time for the next dose, do not double the dose to catch up. Then go back to your usual schedule.
Storage
Keep the medication at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F). Store it away from light, heat and moisture. Do not store Pulmicort in the bathroom. Save this remedy beyond the reach of children and away from pets.
Warnings Precautions
Sometimes certain medical conditions interact with Pulmicort. Tell your pharmacist or doctor in case you have the following medical conditions:
you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant;
you are breast-feeding;
you are currently using some herbal preparation, certain dietary supplement
or prescription/nonprescription medicine,
you are allergic to some substances (medicines, foods etc.)
if your eyeed pressure is high;
if you have glaucoma, cataracts or any infections in your body;
if you have tuberculosis (or positive tuberculosis test), osteoporosis, stomach upset, measles.
There are some medications interacting with Pulmicort . Inform your health care provider in case you are currently taking any other medicines, especially the following ones:
Hydantoins, barbiturates, carbamazepine and rifampin lower positive effects of Pulmicort.
The danger of side effects of ritodrine and live vaccines may be hightened by Pulmicort.
Pulmicort's side effects may de heightened by macrolide antibiotics, hormonal contraceptives and imidazole antifungals.
Possible Side Effects
Contact your doctor if any of these side effects take place:
irritation of throat; nasal congestion.
Ask for medical attention immediately in case any of these serious side effects take place:
serious allergic reactions (chest tightness; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue; rash; hives; difficulty breathing); trouble breathing (worsened/new); pain in chest, ears; irregular heartbeat; headache; dizziness; wheezing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Pulmicort Inhaler (Budesonide) should be taken only by those patients for whom it is prescribed. You should not give it to others.
