More Information
The majority of the studies about joint health and hyaluronic acid deal with intra-articular use, or HA injections directly into joints. In this regard, there is enough proof for effects of the HA on the joint function.
It was found from a study that was performed in patients with TMJ (temporomandibular joint) with the injectable HA that joint functions increased. Another study concluded that using HA helped in improving joint mobility as well as function. Hyaluronic acid has natural inclination for the joint tissue, which in turn helps in supporting healthy joint function and structure.
