Styplon
Uses of the Drug
Styplon has styptic in addition to astringent properties, along with the demulcent and anti-inflammatory actions, helps in facilitating hemostasis and thus also helps in effective bleeding management. You can take Styplon tablets when you notice the symptoms such as bleeding hemorrhoids; bleeding gums; epistaxis; abnormal uterine spotting or bleeding; hemoptysis; hematuria as the adjuvant.
How to Take
Take 2 to 3 tablets thrice in a day for 2 to 4 days unless the bleeding becomes under control. Then you can reduce the dose to daily 1 to 2 tablets. Children should take half the dosage.
Drug Mechanism and Class
Styplon helps naturally in controlling bleeding and hemorrage. In every case of dental surgery, hemorrhage becomes an important complication. Haemostasis is another complicated procedure and is based upon the reliability of capillary system, systemic and quality functioning of some other factors related to coagulation and haemostasis and platelet population.
Missed Dose
If you ever miss a dosage of Styplon and are taking it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
Storage
Styplon should be stored at the room temperature. It should be kept away from children and pets. Styplon should be stored away from light, moisture and heat.
Warnings Precautions
Patients suffering from hypertension should carefully take Himplasia.
Common Side Effects
Styplon does not have side effects when it is taken as prescribed by the doctor.
More Information
Most of the patients who used this drug reported that bleeding of gums did not appear to them. However, oral hygiene has to be maintained along with taking this medicine.
